Kheerni- Sitaphal – Sindhi Food

Custard apple gives a new twist to this delicious fusion of kheer and phirni
Preparation Time : 10 minutes
Cooking Time : 50 – 55 minutes
Servings : 4
Custard apple (sitaphal)
3 medium
5 cups
Rice, soaked
4 tablespoons
Sugarfree Natura
14 measures
Rice, soaked and ground
2 tablespoons
Green cardamom powder
1/4 teaspoon
Pistachios, blanched and sliced
8 – 10
De-stone custard apple.
Keep aside a little of the SKIN  & puree the rest.
Heat milk in a pan.
Add rice and cook stirring from time to time.
Add Sugar and continue to cook till the rice is almost done.
Add ground rice and cook stirring continuously.
Add green cardamom powder.
When sufficiently thickened, take it off the heat and set it aside to cool a little. Add custard apple puree and mix well.
Add the custard apple flesh and mix.
Transfer into the earthenware bowls (sakoras) and garnish with pistachios.
